Oak honey

Oak honey is harvested in Kalabaka at an altitude of 1000 meters, where the oaks grow in a clean and untouched area. This honey has a deep flavor with hints of bitter caramel and a distinct earthy aroma reminiscent of oak fruit. Its dark color and rich character make it particularly distinctive.

Oak is considered one of nature’s strongest sources of antioxidants, and dark oak honey is particularly rich in nutrients. It has a low sugar content, making it less sweet than many other varieties. At the same time, it is full of minerals such as potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and sodium. Its natural enzymes promote metabolism and contribute to increased energy and balance.

Oak honey is prized for its health benefits and is often used for stomach problems, flu and to relieve fatigue. Because this type of honey is only available in limited quantities and requires special conditions, it is both sought after and highly valued.
